Receptionist 

Typical Duties of a Medical Receptionist include: Greeting office visitors and managing patient intake, answering and routing incoming calls, scheduling appointments for patients, filing medical records and performing other administrative duties as required.

ECG Technician

In our office an electrocardiogram (ECG) technician is expected to perform an ECG, perform and monitor stress tests, and administer Holter monitoring tests (including analysis). Minimum three years recent and related experience, and Canadian Society of Cardiac Technologist Certification are preferred.

Cardiac Sonographer 

Cardiac Sonographer is expected to have at least 1 year experience in performing full protocol resting echocardiogram (including strain), experience in performing stress echocardiogram, and contrast injection is appreciated. Current registration with ARDMS and/or CARDUP is mandatory.

IT Support

IT technical support officer monitor and maintain the computer systems and networks of our office. You will be installing and configuring computer systems, diagnosing hardware and software faults, and solving technical and applications problems, either over the phone or in person. Experience with medical software & EMR systems is appreciated.

Nurse

Our nurse is responsible for preliminary assessment of patients, medicine reviews, education of patients and families about chronic cardiovascular diseases preventions and helps in ongoing care for the patients. Nurse is an integral part of the team as a link between patients and our physician. Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses is mandatory.

Office Manager 

Oversees the overall business operations, oversees the administrative staff consisting of medical receptionists, billing, and medical records technicians. The manager Is responsible for hiring and training office staff. Supervises the selection and ordering of supplies among so many other things.

Book Keeper

A Bookkeeper, or accounting Technician, provides weekly management of accounts, keeps businesses aligned with provincial and federal tax laws and manages accounts payable and receivable. Their duties include record maintenance, clerical work, and data entry.

Transcriptionist

Medical transcriptionists translate dictated recordings from doctor into written reports, correspondence, and documents. Should also be able to review and edit medical documents created using speech recognition technology.
